Definitions

1.1 "Dinehome" and the related website dinehome.it (hereinafter also referred to as "we", "our" or similar) is an internet portal that offers a mediation service between international exchange students (Erasmus+, Overseas, etc.) at Italian and/or foreign universities in Italy and host families (even at first experience).

International students and host families who have registered on Dinehome by sending Dinehome the appropriate registration form (see paragraph 1.3) filled out in its entirety are hereinafter referred to as "users", "you", "your" or similar.

1.2 Dinehome users have the opportunity to:
- be paired with a host family who will welcome them as an international student and
- welcome an international student as a host family.

This means that international students and host families can independently contact the respective international student or host family with whom they have been matched by Dinehome and organize the dinners themselves. In doing so, Dinehome offers them multiple support.

1.3 Within the meaning of these general conditions, "registration form" means a "Typeform" page through which users provide us, truthfully and completely, with all the data requested from them and declare that they fully accept the privacy policy (https://www.iubenda.com/privacy-policy/8278847) and these Conditions. In particular, the data we request in the registration form are:

     - first name, last name, date of birth, gender, KYC info,
- email contact (institutional email to students), Whatsapp number, address (host families only),
- preferred language, male/female preference (host families only), motivation

The registration form gives each user the opportunity to describe themselves and/or their family and to express their expectations towards the host family or international student with whom they will be matched.

1.3 Within the meaning of these General Terms and Conditions, "pairing email" means the email you will receive at the email address indicated on the enrolment form with which we will notify you of the contact details of the international student/host family with whom you have been matched in connection with the Dinehome project (par 6 and 7).

Scope of validity

2.1. These Terms of Use apply to the use of Dinehome. By registering, the user accepts these General Terms and Conditions. By registering on Dinehome, they become an integral part of the agreement. By registering, the agreement between the user and Dinehome is implemented. However, any individual agreements between you and us take precedence over the general terms and conditions of the agreement.

2.2. We recommend that you print out or save our general terms and conditions of agreement in the same way that we save the full text of the registration form that you have filled out after sending it and make it available to you upon request.
